Meet Janette

Janette’s family history, education and background give her a unique perspective on food, nutrition and overall health and well-being. Growing up with both a food chemist grandfather and grandmother who majored in nutrition, her childhood years gave her a love of all things food.  She later went on to obtain her nutrition degree from Penn State and worked as a clinical dietitian in both long term and acute care settings early in her career.  Throughout the years, she has added to her education, gaining interest and knowledge about the mind/body connection.  She obtained additional training in the calming effects of breath work and somatic practices as well as the psychology of health mindset coaching.

In her spare time, Janette loves hiking, reading, coffee in the morning with her husband and running her yoga ministry.  Janette and her husband have three grown children, a daughter and twin boys.  She has recently been adjusting to an empty nest and, of course, cherishes family time with her grown children when she can.

Ramuel Holgado OnPoint Client
OnPoint Nutrition has been absolutely fundamental in helping me build lifelong dietary habits. I am much more conscious of the nutrition that goes behind my meals and most importantly for me, the portion sizes of the different foods I consume. The program is built in a sustainable manner in which you don't have to necessarily cut out any foods in your diet that you don't want to.
Jennifer Newton OnPoint Client
The OPN team helped get me setup with an awesome nutritionist that worked with my personality and I have been working with her ever since. I love the non-diet mentality and the fact that all food is good - there are no bad foods, this is all about moderation. With my nutritionist's help I was able to balance out the food I was eating which led to better gut health, more energy and overall feeling better.
